Hello friends! We hope that this rainy season hasn't dampered your spirits too much by now. With spring so close, we are all anticipating a lush, vibrant season ahead. With the changing of weather, we felt we should share some information about our second location with anyone that hasn't had the pleasure of visiting it yet. The outdoor experience of dining at our food cart is perfect for longer days and warmer weather, so be sure to keep reading! We don't want you to miss out.
While our flagship store on NE Alberta St. has certainly served us and this wonderful community well, we couldn't help feel it was time to make our products more accessible to a greater swath of Portland food lovers! That is why a year ago this April, Back to Eden Bakery installed a "food cart" on SE Division St. at the Tidbit Food Farm & Garden cart pod on the corner of SE 28th Pl. and Division St. More of a bakery shack than a food cart, we're thrilled to be able to bring our one-of-a-kind vegan gluten-free treats to this part of town.
So in case this is news to you, you'll want to put visiting us at Tidbit on your spring to-do list. The pod serves up some really diverse cuisine with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. You can find anything from Hapa ramen bowls, Hawaiian lunch at Namu, Paper Bag Pizza,Thai, Indian, or Mediterranean, and our favorite all vegetarian Earth Burgers PDX with 5 world-inspired patties and fries that can't be beat. You can even score some amazing hand-made local gifts at Menagerie, thrift a new outfit at Lodekka  and grab a stellar microbrew from Scout PDX's beer garden while sitting around the fire pit located at the center of the pod. It really is a quintessential Portland experience that pairs perfectly with our 100% plant based vegan gluten-free baked goods, desserts and dairy-free soft serve ice cream, shakes and sundaes!
You'll be able find many of your favorite items from our NE location, like our fresh array of morning pastries with a cup of Trailhead Coffee, cupcakes, mini pies, whoopies, and savory items like tomato kale cashew tarts, quiche and GF bagels from New Cascadia with sundried tomato rosemary cream cheese. We also carry our popular biscuits & gravy on the weekend until we sell out - so the earlier the better!

Our hours are currently Sunday through Wednesday 10am-6pm, and Thursday through Saturday 9am-9pm. Starting Sunday, March 20th, our hours will switch to 9am-9pm, 7 days a week as we welcome in the spring!

We are currently running a special all month long: visit us at our SE location Monday through Wednesday and receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone for every $20 you spend!
